Important Waste Transportation Safety Program (Act 90) News

PADEP has determined that final green stickers have been sent to all known active haulers.

All waste haulers who have not received their final green sticker(s) from PADEP should contact WTSP (DEP) immediately at (717) 783-9258.

After September 17, 2007, waste haulers will not be allowed to dispose of waste at processing and disposal facilities in Pennsylvania unless they have the new stickers on their vehicle(s).

DEP is requesting all processing and disposal site operators to inform waste haulers who are still operating under interim authorizations (white stickers) to contact DEP immediately to obtain proper authorization.

One-time, one load exemptions will be issued only to companies and individuals that have no knowledge of Act 90 when arriving at a processing or disposal facility.

Click here to go to the PADEP web page on Municipal and Residual Waste Transportation for more information. The New Application Form is available on the PADEP Municipal and Residual Waste Transportation page.
