Resolution
No. 2001-6
PREAMBLE: The Board of Directors ("Board") of the
Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority, Lancaster
County, Pennsylvania ("LCSWMA"), has determined that
it is appropriate to acquire that tract of real estate located
in Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, as more
fully described in Exhibit A attached to and made a part of
this Resolution ("Property").
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board that LCSWMA's Executive
Director and Solicitor are hereby authorized and directed
to take all actions which are necessary or appropriate to
acquire the Property either by condemnation or by purchase
in lieu of condemnation for the sum of $372,500 or such other
amount approved by the Board's Executive Committee, and all
actions previously taken by the same in connection with such
acquisition are hereby ratified and approved.
RESOLVED by the Board this 16th day of November, 2001.
