Municipal Recycling Programs

Of the 60 municipalities in Lancaster County, forty-four (44) have curbside recycling collection services for residents, and three (3) have monthly drop-off programs. About 101,700 County households are being served by weekly curbside recycling.

Overall, 87% of the County’s residents are served by either curbside or drop-off recycling within their municipality. Residents in municipalities without programs are welcome to utilize the Authority's commingled bottle and can drop-off recycling locations; they can be found at the Transfer Station, Frey Farm Landfill and the Resource Recovery Facility, and are accessible 24 hours a day.

Please contact your municipality for specific information regarding haulers, collection dates and times, and the schedule for special collections such as Corrugated Cardboard, White Goods, Tires, Leaves, Yard Waste and Christmas Trees.
