FREE public tours are offered at all LCSWMA facilities, including the Transfer Station Complex, Lancaster Waste-to-Energy Facility, Frey Farm Landfill and Susquehanna Resource Management Complex.
Children must be 10 years old and accompanied by an adult in order to take a tour.

LCSWMA offers free tours to groups of 20 people or more such as civic groups, schools or clubs.
Tours are scheduled by appointment only, and reservations must be made in advance. Children must be at least 10 years old to tour the facilities.
Tours are offered Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Each tour request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Visitors are required to wear clothing that is appropriate for an industrial environment. Closed-toed shoes are mandatory. Sandals, flip-flops or open toe/open heel shoes are prohibited. For the safety of our guests, any individual not appropriately dressed will be asked to refrain from participating in the tour.
When appropriate, visitors will be asked to wear safety gear, which may include a hard hat, safety glasses, safety gloves, and/or a safety vest. We will supply these items, and they must be returned at the conclusion of the tour.
